Field Trip

COVA scheduled our first field trip of the school year at the Denver Zoo. They even paid for our admission! Robbie took the day off, so we went as a family. The weather was nice, we saw lots of animals, rode the train, had a picnic. We were exhausted at the end after all of that walking. It was so nice having Robbie go with us! Those kids weigh quite a bit when all in the wagon together, and he pulled the wagon the whole day!
Does he know how to hold still?
Seriously! Does he know how to sit down?!
This guy knows how to sit down! He probably eats more though! This is the bear after his dreadlocks were cut off ;-)

Abby takin' a snooze!

Such a great time of the year to go to the zoo! What were your kids favorite parts?

We watched a show where the birds fly over head and there are tortoises and pigs on stage! That was their favorite!

Fun pictures! Yes, little boys have a different activity level than little girls :) I figure it all evens out, though, when girls develop teenage attitudes! Oh, and I never answered your question about our hike. We hiked for about an hour, I'm guessing we only went 2 miles. Pretty good, though, for little legs!
