I think this is occurring WAAAY to early! We were at a school function yesterday eating lunch with other home schoolers. This cute little boy in Makenzie's class wanted to sit with us, so we made room for him. After a few minutes, I could tell Abby was smitten. She sidled right up to him, on his seat and began singing her favorite song "Hallelujah " from the Shrek soundtrack. It was hilarious while I sat there watching... I think the boy was smitten with Makenzie but it took me several minutes of watching Abby to realize what she was doing. I asked her on our long drive home why she was singing to the boy, if she liked him. Hmmmm. When I got home, I thought more about it and now I am freaking out!
This is a two fold freak out. Not only are boys starting to be a little interested in Makenzie, but both girls are starting to notice that boys can be cute. AAAAAAAh! Any thoughts, anyone?

first of all, can I just say that is AWESOME that Abby was singing that song. It is one of my ALL TIME FAVEORITES!!!
And about the crush thing...man that is scarrrrry! My first thought is to not make it an issue at all. If they pick up that you are uncomfortable or irked by it, they might just decide to become obsessed with boys because they will figure out that it's somehow a big deal. But i do not envy you. I will be in the same situation in a few years I fear...
