Would This Be Considered Bragging?

Temperatures here in Katy, Texas were mid 70's today! We packed up the kids and headed over to an amazing park for a picnic and day of fun! We walked around a beautiful fishing pond. There were cranes, loons and some freaky looking duck/buzzards. We enjoyed watching the cranes take off and land in the water.We were able to enjoy FREE miniature golf at this county park! Free fishing? Free mini golf? I think the swimming is free too! What an awesome place! I think Makenzie thought that we were playing marathon golf. We couldn't keep up with her! She had a great time, though.

We also discovered that Makenzie is taller than some palm trees! Very exciting news to be in a climate WITH palm trees, and to find out that you can be taller than one is even more exciting!

Abby stayed closer to Robbie while playing her round of golf. She picked up a few pointers from him and didn't lose any balls in the water :-)

Anything you can hit with a club is right up Will's alley... if only for a few minutes, until a squirrel comes along that needs a good chasing!

He treed several squirells at the park today. It was hilarious! He ran after them as fast as his stubby little legs would carry him, only to watch them climb up high in the trees. That was fascinating in it's own right since he is learning to climb a little tree at Grandma and Grandpa's house!

After a nice round of mini golf, we went to the playground at this enormous park. This was a fun picture of the girls swinging. Look at their hair!!!!

Will enjoyed the slides! These tube slides are exciting! Can't see mom till almost down!
