Color Coded Hair Trimmer

I bought this fancy new color coded hair-cutting kit. Now, color coding seems like an excellent idea, but the primary reason that I bought this particular set was because it was the best price. The fact that it has a neat color coding system to make cutting hair easier was only a plus. So, this morning, I thought I would give shaggy boy a trim :-)See the fancy color code markings? I picked lavendar for a short trim of 3/4". If you click on the picture to see it bigger, please, tell me that the piece I selected matches the lavendar 3/4" setting! As I began running the tool thru his hair, I thought "This seems awful short for 3/4". Maybe I am worse about estimating in my head than I thought!" But, I had already hacked off a huge strip, so I had to finish it. I looked closely at this lavendar piece and saw that is says 1/4"! Now, if you compare the 1/4" on the tool, it is NOT lavendar... it's a pinkish color! Anyway... here are the results of our first "color coded haircut." It's definitely shorter than what I was going for, but... he is a boy and he does look rather handsome here :-)

hey, we're all about the buzz-cut in our family... super easy and no whining about getting hair combed! I think he looks cute, and much older!

I like it, but I still think you should sue.

He pulls it off adorably. At least you have an excuse, when my son's hair disappears beneath my overly agressive sheers, I've got no one to blame but numero uno.

Yep, it turned out fine. My boys scream when I cut their hair, they are seriously terrified.
